Job Purpose To position is required to efficiently manage, follow-up and convert showroom enquiries into sales, generate new enquiries and sell vehicles profitably, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The car sales executive is responsible for assisting the sales team in selling new and used cars to customers. This includes managing all aspects of car sales, including marketing, inventory management, customer service, vehicle financing. Principal Accountabilities Ensure the maintenance of the showroom appearance. Contribute and assist with the development of various sales promotions, showrooms, and internet displays in line with the company policy and identified customer needs. Conducting in-depth research on current market trends in a proactive manner and in line with various internal and external training opportunities. Record all customer contacts and related information, updating records to develop opportunities for future business and enabling effective prospecting and customer follow-up to take place. Maintain an up-to-date customer database on SAP to drive current and future automotive sales. Ensure accuracy of documentation and security of cash, cheques, vehicles, and other company resources in line with AAB's working systems, procedures, and standards, including legal requirements. Deal professionally with customers from initial contact to satisfactory completion of sale, following a structured process to achieve the CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) target. Collect and analyze information to assist the supervisor in the preparation of data and daily sales reports on a weekly and monthly basis. Make recommendations to customers on car models that best meet their requirements/preferences & provide the potential customer with detailed information, including comparing different competitive models. Accompany customers on test drives. Support the newly recruited or less experienced sales staff in achieving a high customer satisfaction rate by answering technical and procedural questions. Educating and mentoring them on improved processes within the sales function and supporting them in on-the-job sales training.
