We are seeking a qualified AMI Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems and demonstrate strong technical knowledge, troubleshooting capabilities, and stakeholder management skills. Only candidates holding an engineering degree will be considered; technician qualifications are not acceptable for this role.Key Responsibilities:Install, test, and commission smart water meters as part of AMI deployments.Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of AMI systems and architecture.Ensure compliance with OMS metering standards and M-Bus protocols.Integrate systems with HES (Head-End System) and MDM (Meter Data Management) platforms.Configure, commission, and manage Gateways / DCUs (Data Concentrator Units) for accurate and reliable data collection.Troubleshoot and resolve communication protocol issues on site, including RF, GPRS, and NB-IoT.Engage effectively with stakeholders including meter vendors, service providers, HES teams, and other project partners.Prepare accurate technical reports and maintain relevant documentation throughout the project lifecycle.Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.Adhere to all organizational, safety, quality, and regulatory standards in the performance of duties.Mandatory Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mandatory; technician diplomas are not accepted for this role).Proven hands-on experience with Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems and smart meter projects.Solid understanding of OMS standards, M-Bus, and various communication protocols (RF, GPRS, NB-IoT).Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, technical reporting, and multi-vendor coordination.Strong commitment to compliance, safety, and quality standards.
