Job Role : Design EngineerLocation: Abu Dhabi. UAE. Preferred Candidates:We strongly prefer UAE local Emirati candidates for this job role.Job Summary:As a Design Engineer specializing in Roads Design, you will play a key role in the planning, design, and implementation of road infrastructure projects. You will work collaboratively with a team of engineers, planners, and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality road design projects.Key Responsibilities:Establish design parameters based on client’s requirements.Prepare conceptual, preliminary and final roadway and interchange design.Assist in the preparation of tender documents.Prepare detailed Highway design and feasibility studies.Check complete road drawings which includes road layout, longitudinal sections, cross sections, road furniture, road markings and signs, visibility checks, swept path analysis, and flexible pavement.Monitor and review the progress of producing the engineering design services such as geometric drawings, specifications, estimates and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes.Preparation of Signing and Marking layout drawings.Assign, approve, perform or delegate design modifications as appropriate.Coordinate and complete projects and design efforts with other engineering groups and departments within DC Abu Dhabi.Ensure that all designs and deliverables are as per standards and codes and accurately represent the client’s requirements.
