Job SummaryThe Business Continuity Specialist is responsible for ensuring the organization can maintain critical operations and quickly recover from disruptions, such as natural disasters, cyberattacks, or other emergencies. This role involves developing, testing, and maintaining business continuity plans (BCPs) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies while collaborating with various departments to mitigate risks and ensure operational resilience.Key Responsibilities1. Business Continuity Planning (BCP)• Develop, implement, and maintain business continuity plans for all critical business functions.• Conduct business impact analyses (BIAs) to identify critical operations and potential risks.• Define recovery time objectives (RTOs) and recovery point objectives (RPOs) for business processes.2. Risk Assessment and Mitigation• Identify potential threats and vulnerabilities that could disrupt business operations.• Collaborate with risk management teams to mitigate identified risks.• Monitor emerging threats and update BCPs accordingly.3.
