Roles & Responsibilities
Support senior management in collaborating with clients to understand project and design requirements, ensuring alignment with Client’s business objectives.
Assist Manager Design in preparing design briefs and scopes of work for design consultant procurement, supporting the consultant procurement process.
Coordinate with design consultants for on-time submittals, prepare project proposals, and track design progress against contract payment stages.
Collaborate and coordinate with both internal and external teams to control the design development from concept to delivery stage.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams of designers and engineers through all stages of design ,production, and delivery.
Collaborate with Design and Delivery teams for successful project delivery from design through opening and closeout phases.
Ensure designs maintain a high level of quality, assessing alignment with project program and approved plans.
Assess shop drawings for accuracy and ensure alignment with design intent.
Provide feedback regarding designs to align with approved direction and design intent.
Prepare and review design documentation across design stages from concept through to “issued forconstruction” (IFC).
Prepare design presentations, concept drawings, and visualizations to communicate design ideas effectively.
Compile and provide reports to senior leadership on the status of design and implementation of theproject while in progress and up to completion.
Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information on project conditions, constraints, and trackproject progress.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the design and development process.
Coordinate with Design and Delivery teams to ensure Client's brand consistency across the entire customer journey.
Collect development plans, permit application documents, environmental impact statements, and reclamation plans.
Stay abreast with the latest industry software, relevant codes, design trends, and solutions.
Participate regularly in professional development and training opportunities.
Efficiently gather and organize stakeholder feedback.
Assist in identifying and mitigating potential design risks.
Contribute to quality assurance processes for design deliverables.
Maintain accurate project documentation and archives.
Promote a positive and collaborative team environment.
Interact with leadership and stakeholders to understand requirements, provide updates, andaddress concerns.
Gain proficiency in design tools, software, and technologies used in projects
Desired Candidate Profile
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, Urban
Planning, or related fields;
6-8 years of experience in real estate design & development.
At least 4+ years in design consultancy across a range of projects in commercial, leisure, residential and hospitality projects, preferably within real estate development in the UAE/GCC region
Previous GCC or UAE experience is essential..
Exceptional design aesthetic sensibility, executed on various projects, including interiorarchitecture, wayfinding, signage, lighting design, and FF&E for mixed-use developments.
Excellent communication skills, written and spoken English (Arabic preferred).
Strong presentation, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
