The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, tender pricing, and technical evaluations for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.Estimation & CostingPrepare detailed cost estimates for structural steel, steel fabrication, PEB, and erection worksAnalyze IFC / Tender drawings, specifications, and scope of workPrepare BOQs, material take-offs (MTOS), and quantity calculationsEvaluate material costs (steel sections, plates, bolts, paint systems, consumables)Calculate fabrication, blasting, painting, galvanizing, transportation, and erection costsEstimate man-hours for fabrication and site erection activitiesTendering & BiddingReview tender documents and identify commercial and technical risksPrepare competitive tender pricing aligned with GCC market ratesCoordinate with procurement, production, and site teams for accurate inputsAssist in pre-bid clarifications, RFIs, and value engineering proposalsSupport management during negotiation and finalization of contractsTechnical & Commercial CoordinationLiaise with design, planning, QA/QC, and project teamsReview subcontractor and supplier quotations for compliance and cost efficiencyPrepare cost comparison statements and vendor evaluationsMaintain estimation databases and historical cost recordsAssist in variation pricing, change orders, and claims when required
