Role SummaryThe Senior Surveyor is responsible for leading surveying operations, ensuring accurate measurements, mapping, and site data collection for construction, infrastructure, and engineering projects. This role oversees junior surveyors, verifies survey reports, and ensures all survey activities meet project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and conduct detailed land, topographical, and construction surveys.Review and verify survey data, measurements, and site layouts.Prepare accurate survey reports, drawings, maps, and digital models.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients regarding survey needs.Set out, mark, and establish reference points, benchmarks, and coordinates on site.Operate and maintain surveying equipment such as Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and Laser Scanning tools.Monitor site progress and ensure all works follow approved survey data.Identify discrepancies, resolve technical issues, and update as-built documentation.Lead a team of surveyors and provide guidance, training, and quality checks.Ensure all surveying activities comply with safety standards and project requirements.
