OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Executive – Operations to join our Logistics team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in port operations, customs clearance, shipping & freight forwarding, and be experienced in dealing with Oil & Gas and Government entities. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, high client exposure, and the ability to manage end-to-end operations efficiently while ensuring service quality and profitability.Key Responsibilities· Manage the full spectrum of Abu Dhabi Port Operations & Customs Clearance, ensuring smooth operational flow and compliance.· Oversee the P&L for Logistics Operations, specifically Ocean Freight & Customs Clearance.· Lead and support Shipping & Freight Forwarding activities; project cargo experience is an added advantage.· Ensure operational excellence, HSE compliance, and adherence to quality standards.· Drive continuous improvement, cost leadership, and efficient supplier management.· Engage in business development, customer care, key account management, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.· Evaluate market trends and recommend strategies to enhance service offerings and competitive positioning.· Support tender preparation, bids, customer registrations, and new opportunity qualification.· Maintain strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, internal teams, and senior leadership.· Support commercial and operational teams in converting opportunities and resolving issues.· Ensure correct application of Group policies, corporate governance, and code of conduct.

1. Treasury & Cash Management:Monitor bank accounts, collect details from banks, and liaise with businesses for updates.Arrange fund transfers between company accounts as needed.Handle banking correspondence for Letters of Credit (LC), Letters of Guarantee (LG), and other instruments.Create and release approved payments via the bank portal.Manage cheque collection from customers and process inward remittances.2. Visit a minimum of 3-4 customers daily to generate new business and leads. Assist customers in selecting the correct parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials, ensuring that they are exposed to the full product line.Provide accurate price quotes and other information to customers over the phone in a courteous and cheerful manner.
